I came to EMDR with a request to calm my claustrophobia. One way or another, it had been with me for the last 15 years, and in the past six months, it resulted in several (first in my life) panic attacks.

During therapy (3 sessions), I felt understood and heard, and also experienced a therapeutic effect. In addition to eye movement practice, Ksyusha provided many useful breathing and mental practices for such stressful situations, which will now always be my faithful helpers in difficult moments.

Speaking about the changes after the sessions, I'll share a mini-story:
A few days after finishing work with Ksyusha, I had a flight ahead. The airline bus took us to the plane's stairs and did not open the doors for about 5 minutes. There was some uncertainty about when it would open, which caused strong discomfort. Without sessions with Ksyusha, I would most likely have succumbed to a panic attack and burst into tears, but this time - I started breathing deeply and forced myself to continue talking to my mother. As a result, I got away with just sweaty palms, but held back the panic attack.
Thank you.
